Faculty Assembly
The KU School of Nursing Faculty Assembly represents faculty in all appropriate School of Nursing governance matters. The Faculty Assembly is comprised of all individuals who hold a faculty appointment in the School of Nursing. Committees of the faculty assembly include:
- Steering Committee
- Level One Programs Committee (BSN, MSN)
- Level Two Programs Committee (DNP, Advanced Practice Certificates)
- PhD Program Committee
- Research Committee
- Appointment, Promotion, and Tenure Committee
The committee members and functions for each committee are described in detail in the School of Nursing Faculty Bylaws. Faculty Bylaws are reviewed and updated annually by the Steering Committee and approved by the Faculty Assembly.
