Professional Background

Dr. Yomna Badawi is a neuroscientist studying the mechanisms that regulate synaptic function in health and disease. Her research focuses on understanding how disruptions in neuronal communication contribute to neuromuscular and neurodegenerative disorders, including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and on identifying therapeutic strategies that preserve synaptic function.
