Whitney Bartley, DPT, DHSc, PT

Professional Background

Whitney Bartley, DPT, DHSc, PT, is a clinical assistant professor for the Department of Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation Science, and Athletic Training at KU Medical Center. She joined the faculty of the School of Health Professions in April 2026. She teaches courses in medical imaging, pathophysiology and pediatrics.

Bartley brings more than a decade of teaching experience across hybrid, residential, national and international settings, along with more than 15 years of clinical practice caring for medically complex patients across the lifespan. Her scholarship and service focus on advancing equity and improving access to high-quality rehabilitation services, particularly in rural and underserved communities.
