Professional Background
I completed medical school in 2019 at the University of Kansas School of Medicine - Wichita. I then completed residency in internal medicine at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in 2022. Since that time, I returned to Kansas and have worked at The University of Kansas Health System. My primary clinical responsibilities are as a hospitalist within the health system, while my teaching responsibilities include facilitating Case Based Collaborative Learning sessions, assisting in the clinical skills lab, leading flipped classroom sessions, and serving as a clinical supervisor for fourth-year medical students. I am also involved within the healthcare system as a physician advisor, member of the Hospitalist Advisory Committee, and the Enterprise Medication Safety Subcommittee.
