The on-campus BSN program is located in either Kansas City or Salina, KS. Students complete 39 hours of coursework on their respective campus and corresponding clinical sites; the remaining 21 credit hours are completed in an online format that integrates all BSN pathways into our digital campus community.

The KU School of Nursing at the University of Kansas Medical Center is centrally located on the major interstate highway system. The medical center campus is a mile south of I-35 and 7th Street Trafficway South at 39th Avenue and Rainbow Boulevard in Kansas City, Kansas.

A campus visit provides a unique opportunity for prospective students to meet with current students, faculty, and staff to learn more about the undergraduate nursing program.
Your visit will:

Clinical Education
Learn, Practice, and Build Confidence as a future nurse
The Lab is where nursing students bring classroom learning to life. Our spaces are filled with the latest technology to help you build real‑world skills in a supportive, hands‑on environment. Large‑screen monitors, interactive video displays, and flexible practice stations let you learn at your own pace while receiving coaching from instructors when you need it.
We are also proud that our Simulation Center holds INACSL Endorsement, a recognition that we meet international standards for high‑quality, evidence‑based simulation education.
You’ll participate in a variety of simulation experiences across KUMC, including interprofessional learning and telehealth practice.
