In the Dong Lab, trainees:

• Engineer and study clinically relevant C. difficile strains
• Use in vivo models to connect the mechanism to the disease
• Apply multi-omics and systems-level analysis
• Develop independent, hypothesis-driven projects
• Train at the interface of microbiology and translational science

Graduate Students

Students interested in pursuing doctoral studies within the Dong Laboratory should apply to the IGPBS program at KU Medical Center or through the microbiology department graduate program.
