Robert Fulbright, JD, MA

Professional Background

Robert Fulbright is the Director of Ethics for the University of Kansas Health System (TUKHS). In this role, he leads the ethics consultation service at the University of Kansas Hospital. He is also charged with linking ethics activities across the TUKHS expanding organization, including education as well as policy review and development.

Mr. Fulbright has a master’s degree in Biomedical and Health Care Ethics from the University of Leeds, UK, and a J.D. from the University of Kansas. Robert completed his clinical ethics fellowship at Sutter Health’s Program in Medicine and Human Values in San Francisco.  He previously worked as a Senior Bioethicist for Sutter Health and as Bioethics Program Director for Renown Health in Reno, Nevada.
