Research Team

Fatimah Alkhameys, B.A.

Fatimah Alkhameys is a student in KU's doctoral program in rehabilitation science. Her research is focused on understanding how dual-tasking impacts gait in women with breast cancer. She has created a new virtual reality gait test with integrated eye tracker to evaluate the effect of different sensory modalities on dual-task performance in breast cancer survivors.

Samuel Durairaj, M.S., PT

Samuel Durairaj is a student in KU's doctoral program in rehabilitation science. In his doctoral project, he examines the effect of driver training in a low-fidelity driving simulator in older adults with Parkinson’s disease.

Sodiq Fakorede, B.S.

Sodiq Fakorede is a student in KU's doctoral program in rehabilitation science. He is interested in unraveling the neural signatures of cognitive-motor interference during balance and walking in individuals with Alzheimer’s disease.

Logan White, M.S.
Logan White is a student in KU's doctoral program in rehabilitation science. His research, funded by the NIH T32 University of Kansas Training Program in Neurological and Rehabilitation Sciences, focuses on ambient monitoring of gait and mobility in individuals with Parkinson’s disease.
