About the Cognition and Mobility Lab
We are an interdisciplinary research team dedicated to helping improve cognition and mobility in older adults with and without neurodegenerative conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease. We specialize in neurophysiology, neurotechnology and artificial intelligence / machine learning to prevent, detect and train mobility impairments in adults with age-related cognitive decline and neurodegenerative conditions.
This work is in direct alignment with the motor control and mobility research theme of the KU Department of Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation Science, and Athletic Training.
