Professional Background
Dr. Stepheny Berry, MD, FACS, is an Associate Professor of Surgery, Program Director for the Surgical Critical Care Fellowship and the Trauma Medical Director in the Acute Care Surgery Division at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. Berry grew up in Western Kansas, and has a vested interest in ensuring excellent trauma care in our state. She completed her undergraduate studies in Biology and Biochemistry at Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas, and then furthered her education at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. Dr. Berry then completed her General Surgery residency at the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan, before pursuing her passion in trauma and surgical critical care at the University of Tennessee at Memphis.
