Professional Background
Dr. Spencer Hill is a board-certified internal medicine specialist. His clinical interests include the management of chronic medical conditions such as hypertension, type 2 diabetes, hyperlipidemia, heart failure, thyroid disorders, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, chronic kidney disease and osteoporosis. He is also deeply committed to comprehensive men’s and women’s health, with a strong emphasis on preventive care and ensuring that patients remain current with recommended health maintenance and cancer screenings.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Hill is actively engaged in medical education. He teaches medical students at the University of Kansas School of Medicine and serves as faculty within the internal medicine residency program, where he is dedicated to training and mentoring the next generation of physicians.
He is certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine. He received his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 2021 and completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Illinois Chicago in 2024, followed by an additional year as chief resident in 2025. His clinical practice is focused on delivering compassionate, high-quality, evidence-based primary care to diverse patient populations.
