Professional Background

Matriculated into medical school at Univ of Kansas in 1987; took a one year leave of absence during medical school; graduated Dec 1992.
Psychiatry residency from Jan to Jun 1993; switched to Family Practice residency in Jul 1993 and graduated Apr 1996 (was given 2 1/2 months credit for six months of Psychiatry residency).
Practiced family medicine until Jul 2021 (25 years); also moonlighted a great deal in multiple emergency rooms.
In Aug 2021 I went full-time as an instructor at Butler Community College, teaching Anatomy & Physiology.
In Sep 2022 I joined the University of Kansas as an Assistant Professor with Wesley Family Medicine Residency.
