Professional Background

Ron Palmen is originally from Wisconsin. He completed his undergraduate degree at The College of William and Mary and following earned his Masters at Tufts University School of Medicine before returning to Wisconsin for medical school. He completed his doctorate degree at The Medical College of Wisconsin and matched in Kansas City at The University of Missouri - Kansas City in 2020. He graduated with dual-training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics in 2024 after serving as a chief resident during his final year. Following training, he earned dual board certifications in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and joined the Hospital Medicine department as a clinical professor at The University of Kansas.
