Membership Types
Internal Membership
Eligibility:
- Must be a KU Medical Center employee (faculty, staff, fellow, postdoc, or resident)
- Demonstrated interest in Human-Focused AI
- Completion of the EAI Member Survey
Expectations:
Program Leadership & Engagement
- Designate a program lead responsible for vision, coordination, and progress
- Convene regular collaborative meetings to align priorities and share outcomes
- Foster interdisciplinary participation across research, clinical, and technical teams
Research and Funding Commitment
- Submit at least 2 AI-focused extramural funding proposals per year
- Align projects with program goals and institutional priorities
- Contribute to publication, presentation and translational outcomes
Use of EAI Resource
- Leverage EAI Infrastructure, embedded expertise, and governance frameworks
- Follow established data security, and responsible AI practices
- Collaborate with EAI staff on roadmap planning and sustainability
Impact and Reporting
- Track progress against defined milestones
- Demonstrate impact through research outputs, clinical adoption, or workforce development
- Participate in periodic program review and refinement
