Professional Background

Dr. Carroll is an Associate Professor and Division Director of Cardiothoracic Imaging in the Department of Radiology at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She specializes in cardiothoracic imaging, including interpretation of chest radiographs, chest CT and MRI exams for thoracic diseases such as lung cancer/screening, interstitial lung disease, infection and vascular disorders. She also specializes in interpretation of cardiac CT for coronary artery disease and cardiac structure as well as cardiac MRI for cardiac structure, function and heart diseases.

Dr. Carroll received her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. She completed a Diagnostic Radiology residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine and subsequently completed a Cardiothoracic Imaging fellowship at University of Wisconsin in Madison. She is passionate about resident and medical student education and mentorship.
