Professional Background

Margo Block, D.O., is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of Kansas Medical Center and a neurohospitalist at The University of Kansas Health System. Dr. Block completed her D.O. at Midwestern University-Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois. Her post graduate education includes: a clinical neurophysiology fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee; a neurology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin and affiliated hospitals in Milwaukee; and an internal medicine internship at the John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences at Kansas State University, Manhattan, Kansas.

Dr. Block's background includes extensive experience with epilepsy, headache education and care. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Epilepsy Association. She is board certified in neurology, neurophysiology, headache medicine and critical care EEG.
