Professional Background

Board-certified Internal Medicine physician, academic hospitalist, clinician-educator, and researcher with expertise in patient care, medical education, and clinical research. Currently serves as Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center and core faculty for the Internal Medicine Residency Program at the Olathe campus. Actively involved in resident mentorship, curriculum development, quality improvement initiatives, and scholarly activity.

Graduate of Osmania Medical College with extensive experience in academic medicine and evidence-based clinical practice. Research interests include gastroenterology, obesity medicine, epidemiology, healthcare disparities, and outcomes research. Experienced in utilizing large national databases including NIS, NRD, and NEDS for population-based clinical research. Author of multiple peer-reviewed publications, abstracts, and presentations in internal medicine and gastroenterology.

Currently serves as Academic Editor for PLOS ONE and continues to participate in peer review, collaborative research, and trainee mentorship.
