Dr. Wipperman fell in love with VCFM on the interview trail as a medical student. She kept hearing about the broad scope of training that she was looking for in a residency program (OB, procedures, strong medicine, preparation for international or rural practice) as well as the fantastic group of residents and faculty with a heart for service. She is also interested in evidence based medicine, health literacy, and dermatology.

Dr. Wipperman's passions are first, God. Second, her husband Dean and their sons. Third, foam cheese hats. She enjoys playing guitar, piano, bluegrass, backpacking, and books. Her favorite books are The Chronicles of Narnia and The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down.
