Dr. Johnny Wei is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology, Pain, and Perioperative Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. Wei received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University and then went on to complete his internship and residency in anesthesiology at the University of Kansas Medical Center, where he also served as Chief Resident in his final year of training. He subsequently completed a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at Vanderbilt University.

Dr. Wei’s clinical and academic interests include ultrasonography and echocardiography, clinical outcomes following cardiothoracic surgery, and medical education.
