Professional Background

Dr. Joseph Saffold completed his undergraduate at Northwest Missouri State University, medical school at Creighton University School of Medicine and his residency at Wesley Family Medicine. He enjoys building relationships with his patients and working with them to meet their health needs. He loves that Family Medicine gives him the opportunity to treat patients of all ages. He has a passion for teaching, which includes his patients and the residents. He has found that you can learn so much about person if you simply listen.

Dr. Saffold is from a little bit of everywhere. He moved around quite a bit growing up and spent 10 years of his childhood in Japan. He currently calls Wichita home with his wife, Jenee, and their son, Joe Joe.

Outside of the office Dr. Saffold loves spending time with his family. His wife, Jenee, is an attorney and works in policy. Joe Joe is their pandemic baby and an absolute blessing. They have a dog named Marcel. He is a long-haired Dachshund/Yorkie mix and weighs about 9 pounds soaking wet. He enjoys traveling, playing music, board games, working out, cooking, and swimming. He likes playing racket sports including tennis, pickle ball, and racquetball. He plays with tons of heart and a minimal amount of skill.

Dr. Saffold enjoys teaching and shaping the next generation of Family Physicians.
