Professional Background

My PhD degree is in psychometrics and I have worked as a post-doctorate research fellow at National Institutes of Health. I am experienced in machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) methods. My primary research focuses on psychometrics, measurement science, clinical outcomes assessments (COAs), evaluation of AI in clinical settings. My methodological expertise includes latent variable modeling, longitudinal measurement methods, response shift evaluation, minimal clinically important differences (MCIDs), and bias assessment, particularly in the areas of quality of life, symptom burden, functional status, and digital health technology (DHT). My broader research interests include health disparities, survey methodology, causal inference, machine learning, and deep learning.
