Professional Background
Dr. Jenny Cho, MD, FACS, RPVI, is an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Vascular Surgery Division at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She is a certified Vascular Surgeon by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Cho earned her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She completed a residency in General Surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati and fellowship in Vascular Surgery at Indiana University. She is also certified in vascular ultrasound interpretation by The Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI).
Dr. Cho treats many arterial and venous disorders some of which include peripheral artery disease, aneurysms, carotid artery disease, vascular trauma, dialysis access creation and many others. She has a passion for venous disease and is co-director of the Vein Center at the Center of Advanced Vascular Care located in Overland Park. She specializes in venous insufficiency including the treatment of varicose veins, spider veins, venous ulcers, deep venous thrombosis and swelling.
