Professional Background
Dr. Jake Dovgan attended Creighton University for undergraduate and medical studies. He completed his internship year in Internal Medicine and residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year. He further specialized through an Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine Fellowship where he honed his diagnostic and procedural skills in spine and musculoskeletal care, also at Vanderbilt. He serves on multiple committees in the North American Spine Society and International Pain and Spine Intervention Society . His clinical and academic interests encompass everything around utilizing non-surgical minimally invasive treatment options to treat spine and musculoskeletal disorders. Outside of work, Dr. Dovgan enjoys spending time with his wife and family, being outdoors, and participating in endurance sports like running, cycling, and swimming. He loves to try new coffee shops and restaurants.
