Professional Background
Dr. Batsch is an Assistant Professor of the Department of Anesthesiology, Pain, and Perioperative Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He is from the Kansas City area originally. He completed his undergraduate and medical school at the University of Kansas. He then went to California to complete his anesthesiology residency at the University of California, Davis in Sacramento. He was eager to return home and become a Jayhawk once again. He will be located at the KU Southwest Campus in Olathe, KS.
Hobbies outside of medicine include all things outdoors (skiing, hiking, mountain biking), watching sports (mostly the Chiefs and Jayhawks), fitness, and cooking.
