Professional Background

I graduated from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in 2010 and then completed a Urologic Surgery residency at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center. Following this, I sought further specialization in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery through a two year fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. I have been with the Department of Urology at the University of Kansas Medical Center since August 2018.

Research

Overview

My research interests include clinical outcomes research for patients with neurogenic bladder, female stress urinary incontinence, and urgency urinary incontinence. I am the sub-PI for a Phase III clinical trial using autologous muscle-derived cells for the treatment of female stress urinary incontinence.
