Christine R.D. Glenn, DO, is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
Dr. Glenn earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Central Methodist University and her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. She completed her psychiatry residency at KU Medical Center, where she served as chief resident and was recognized with the Excellence in Scholarship Award, honoring residents who demonstrate outstanding medical knowledge and academic achievement.

Before joining the KU Medical Center faculty in 2019, Dr. Glenn practiced psychiatry in Missouri. She has since held several leadership roles within the health system, including serving as Medical Director of the Strawberry Hill Campus from 2019 to 2022. In addition to her academic and leadership work, she maintains an active outpatient clinical practice.

Dr. Glenn is board-certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is also board-certified in obesity medicine by the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Her clinical interests include the integrated treatment of psychiatric illness and metabolic health, with particular focus on obesity and mental health, binge eating disorder, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). She emphasizes a comprehensive, patient-centered approach that recognizes the complex interaction between mental health, physical health, and lifestyle factors.
