Dr. Branden Comfort, MD, MPH, FACP is board certified in Internal Medicine. He serves as the Division Director for the Division of General Internal Medicine. He is also Vice Chief of Staff for the University of Kansas Hospital and serves as an officer and elected representative for the Board of Directors of the University of Kansas Physicians. Dr. Comfort's clinical practice focuses on providing comprehensive and compassionate primary care to his patients. In addition to his clinical and administrative work, he teaches medical students and residents, both in the classroom and at the bedside. He serves as an assistant director for the Holmes Society in the School of Medicine. He is also active in research which focuses on implementation sciences and quality improvement work.
