Professional Background

Dr Chen completed undergraduate studies in bioengineering at the University of California at Berkeley. He subsequently went to medical school at the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed an internship in Internal Medicine there as well. Immediately after, he served with the United States Air Force as a Flight surgeon, before returning to KU for residency in anesthesia. Since residency, he has been an anesthesiologist at various institutions and now is an anesthesiologist at KU southwest campus at Olathe Health.
