Professional Background

Dr. Bradley E. Davis received his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 1986. He completed his residency in general surgery at St. Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City, Missouri, and his urologic surgery residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center in 1991. Dr. Davis completed a fellowship in Urologic Oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, New York, where he received advanced training in Urologic Oncology and was the recipient of the American Cancer Society Clinical Fellowship Award in 1993. Dr. Davis is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). He has held several academic appointments, including Chairman of the Department of Surgery at St. Luke’s Hospital and Chief of Urology at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Dr. Davis has held numerous academic appointments such as Clinical Assistant Professor of Urology at the University of Kansas School of Medicine and the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Medicine. He has also served on the Board of Directors for the National Kidney Foundation. Dr. Davis is involved in advancing the field of urology, including publishing professional articles and presenting papers at professional urologic meetings. He has maintained membership in several medical societies, including the American Urologic Association, Kansas City Urologic Society and the National Kidney Foundation. As a Urologic Oncologist, Dr. Davis specializes in the treatment of all urologic cancers, including prostate cancer, bladder cancer, kidney cancer and testicular cancer. He has expertise in minimally invasive open techniques for the treatment of prostate cancer and other urologic malignancies. He has received specialized training in robotic and laparoscopic techniques, including the da Vinci robotic procedure for prostate cancer. He also has expertise in the surgical treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia including Urolift, Green light laser, and TURP. He has advanced surgical training with endoscopic techniques utilizing laser lithotripsy for stone disease. He also has expertise in the minimally invasive no scalpel vasectomies and has a vast experience with microsurgical vasectomy reversals.
