Dr. Bryan Wakefield is an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He is originally from the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area and completed his undergraduate and medical education training at Texas Tech University. He then completed his Pediatrics residency with Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children’s Hospital followed by Anesthesiology residency at the University of North Carolina and then Obstetric Anesthesiology fellowship at Vanderbilt University. He and his family are excited to be in the Midwest where his wife is from. His interests include obstetric anesthesia and resident/fellow education.
