Ashley Tuttle, DNP, APRN, CNM is the Director of the Nurse Midwifery specialty concentration in the DNP and post-master’s certificate programs. She practices as a certified nurse midwife at a federally qualified health center (FQHC), providing comprehensive pregnancy and gynecologic care to a diverse and predominantly non-English speaking population. Her work focuses on advancing evidence-based approaches that enhance autonomy and predictability within routine patient care.
Dr. Tuttle earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice, specializing in Nurse Midwifery from the University of Kansas, where her doctoral project developed and implemented an evidence-based protocol for trauma-informed pelvic examinations. Dr. Tuttle has delivered national podium presentations and teaches clinicians how to refine pelvic examination practices through intentional structure and sustainable implementation.
