Professional Background

After graduating from Creighton University School of Medicine with his Doctorate in Medicine, Austin Findley completed his residency at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. He went on to the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, where he completed a Fellowship in Epidemiology and Clinical Trials, a Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery and Pelvic Pain, and a Master of Science in Clinical Research.

Dr. Findley joined The University of Kansas Health System in 2019 and specializes in treating a wide range of complex gynecologic problems by utilizing minimally invasive techniques, which helps shorten patient recovery time. His clinical and research interests include minimally invasive surgery, endometriosis, fibroids, abnormal bleeding, and quality improvement in surgical care.

Dr. Findley is the Director of Complex Benign Gynecology at the University of Kansas Health system. He has extensive experience performing endometriosis excision surgery, and is an advocate for quality surgical care for patients with endometriosis.
