Ashley Evans, DNP, APRN, FNP-C

Professional Background

Ashley Evans is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Kansas School of Nursing. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Graceland University School of Nursing in 2019 and her Doctorate in Nursing Practice, Family Nurse Practitioner Degree from the University of Kansas School of Nursing in 2025. Her entire nursing career has been in the oncology field, and she is very passionate about supporting patients who are navigating the challenges of cancer. She worked as a floor nurse at the University of Kansas Hospital on the bone marrow transplant and hematology oncology units. She then transitioned to outpatient medical and hematology oncology. Dr. Evans is currently working as a nurse practitioner in radiation oncology at the AdventHealth Cancer Institute where she continues to practice alongside teaching.
