Allison Coy, MD
Professional Background
I completed medical school at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City and residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, TX. Following completion of residency, I returned to the University of Kansas where I currently serve as the Family Medicine Program Director. Currently I provide outpatient continuity care, obsteteric care, and inpatient care for adults and children. My clinical interests include hospital medicine, women's health including obstetric care, point of care ultrasound, and procedural care. I enjoy the wide variety of care that we can provide as Family Medicine physicians, and I value the lasting relationships that we create with patients and their families. My educational interests include competency based medical education, POCUS, and simulation.
