Teaching Associate, Biostatistics & Data Science
abeltramo@kumc.eduProfessional Background
My main focus is statistics education, where I have helped to develop some courses and am Instructor for several statistics-related courses to graduate students who are primarily from other departments at KUMC and KU-Lawrence. I enjoy teaching students at all levels of statistical background/ability because it allows me to both teach the core fundamentals in a somewhat non-technical way, and getting more technical in the higher level courses. I have provided guidance for several graduate students as they work toward their thesis/dissertation.
