For Prospective Students

  • High school students and college students in their early years of study may contact Alex Lopez, our school's outreach and recruitment specialist, with questions at alopez12@kumc.edu or 913-588-1743. Alex can help you explore possible careers in healthcare, including occupational therapy, and set up a personal meeting online or an in-person visit to our campus.

Location

The main office for the KU Department of Occupational Therapy Education is located in Robinson Hall room 3033 on the University of Kansas Medical Center campus in Kansas City, Kansas. Individual faculty and staff listings may be found in the campus directory.

KU Medical Center is easily accessible from I-35. Our location is approximately 45 minutes from the main campus of KU in Lawrence, Kansas.

Visitors to the department should park in the Olathe II parking garage (P2) along Olathe Boulevard on the south side of the campus. Accommodations are available upon request.

Patient information, treatment questions, hospital visits or clinical care: please contact The University of Kansas Health System at kansashealthsystem.com.

To request verification of education/credentials for a student graduating from the University of Kansas Medical Center, please submit your request to the Office of the Registrar at kumcregistrar@kumc.edu.

Location and Parking

The academic units of the School of Health Professions are located at the KU Medical Center, 3901 Rainbow Boulevard, Kansas City, Kansas.

KU Medical Center is easily accessible from I-35. Our location is approximately 45 minutes from the main campus of KU in Lawrence, Kansas. Visitors without pre-paid parking permits should park in the public parking garage along Olathe Boulevard on the south side of the campus. Accommodations are available upon request.
