Adolescent Behavioral Health 2026 ECHO: Understanding Development to Improve Outcomes for Kansas Youth

About the Series

  • This series will include 4 courses on Thursdays, beginning June 4 through June 25.
  • All courses will be held via Zoom from noon – 1 a.m. CST.
  • This four-session Project ECHO series will strengthen the knowledge and confidence of professionals who work with adolescents by exploring adolescent development and behavioral health through a developmental medicine lens. Participants will review typical adolescent development, understand how developmental trajectories may differ for youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and recognize early warning signs of emerging behavioral health concerns. The series will also explore practical ways to apply developmental medicine principles in behavioral health care and highlight strategies for collaborating with schools and community partners to better support adolescents and their families.
