Ms. Alexa Smith is from Overland Park, Kansas. She graduated from Simpson College, Indianola, IA with degrees in Integrated Marketing Communications-Creative Concentration and Theatre Arts. Ms. Smith is passionate about cross-cultural experiences and has been to nine countries. She has a role in all four main areas of OIP: Inbound Programs, Outbound Programs, International Agreements, and Educational & Exchange Programming. In addition to her role with OIP, she serves as a Content Creator for the NAFSA Marketing & Communications Member Interest Group, is an active alumna & volunteer of Delta Delta Delta, loves Tim Hortons coffee, and has been taking dance classes since 2017. Currently, she is working towards a Masters of Science in International Events Management in an online programme with the University of Salford.
