Luke Namesnik

Professional Background

I grew up in Loveland, Colorado. I received my Bachelors in Biomedical Sciences from Colorado State University. During my time at CSU I worked in the lab of Dr. Tony Schountz using Jamaican fruit bats as a model to better understand bats' immune response and their viruses. At KU Medical Center I am deeply interested in the immune response to viruses, cancer and other diseases of human concern. In my free time, I like to go to the gym, play chess and try different restaurants.
