Digital Health Co/Lab at the University of Kansas is pleased to invite you to Innovators Day 2026, our annual event dedicated to advancing innovation in digital health. The event brings together researchers, clinicians, entrepreneurs and industry leaders to exchange ideas, share real-world insights and explore pathways from innovation to impact.
Attendees will hear insights from digital health leaders and KU innovators, experience live demonstrations and connect with resources and potential collaborators across the regional innovation ecosystem.
Keynote Speaker
We are honored to welcome Michael Torno as this year’s keynote speaker. An entrepreneur and former healthcare executive, Torno has extensive experience building and growing healthcare and technology companies. Most recently, he co-founded PathologyWatch, an AI-enabled digital pathology company acquired by Sonic Healthcare in 2023.
Today, Torno serves as advisory board chair of Kansas City Digital Health, connecting investors, entrepreneurs and health systems across the region. He also teaches product-market fit to emerging entrepreneurs, bringing firsthand insight into moving healthcare innovations from concept to market.
